Since we last posted...

...we've been a busy family running around doing the things families do. Here's a brief picture update... since we are still, well... busy. Mom had her official "mommy duties" for Lainey's daycare in November. She made a dozen Turkey Cupcakes for the fall festival. Lainey didn't get to eat any, but she's looking forward to helping mom make them next year.
After enjoying a big Thanksgiving meal at our church with Granddaddy Hicks, Uncle Richard, Aunt April, and cousins Skylar and Garen, we enjoyed the beautiful afternoon while playing at the park. It was a great way to celebrate our first Thanksgiving together as a family.

A few weeks ago we started rolling over, and now we do it all the time. There's no sense in putting a blanket on the floor because we just roll right off of it.
We met up with Santa while he was doing some Christmas shopping in Corsicana, and Lainey got to tell him what she wanted for Christmas.
And we had school pictures taken. Yes. They take school pictures at their daycare. Isn't that funny?

So that's it in a nutshell. In the attempt to simplfy Christmas this year we decided not to send out Christmas cards, so let us wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Travel safe and take a minute to remember the true reason for this season. A savior was born, and his name was Jesus. Merry Christmas from the Scasta Family
~Derek, Angie, Lainey, Dustie & Gracie
